Hi,
When trying to run the license acceptance, I am getting the following error:
# ./mqlicense.sh -accept
./mqlicense.sh[167]: 476 Bus Error
ERROR: Installation will not succeed unless the license
agreement can be accepted.
If the error was caused by a display problem,
read the license agreement file (LA_xx, where
xx represents your language ) in the 'licenses'
directory, and then run the following command:
mqlicense.sh -accept
Only use this command if you accept the license
agreement.
For other errors, contact your IBM support centre.
I am installing on a Sun Solaris 9 server and have changed the config settings (etc/system) as suggested by the Quick Beginnings Doc.

Do a search here for mqlicense ... there are several suggestions that might be helpful including a hint for bypassing mqlicense (after you read the license file, of course).

D'oh..!! I did a search for the error and not the mqlicense file.
All sorted now.

I performed the following in order to bypass running the license script:
cd /tmp
mkdir mq_license
cd mq_license
mkdir license
cd license
touch status.dat
cd /tmp
chmod -R 777 mq_license
install WMQ |
