We are running MQVE 1.3.2B. In our business the messages that our apps consume are generally over 100K in length. Is there a way to set MQVE Edit to allow for these longer messages?

Hi,
You can set / update the maximum message size to retrieve by clicking on Edit -> Preferences and then updating Max. size of each message to retrieve field.
The reason I set the max. message size to retrieve at 100KB is for speed. If you increase it to 10MB and you have 1000 messages of 10MB in the queue, you could be waiting a while (a long while) for MQVE to open the queue. So be careful.
In case you didn't notice, there is a Get All Data button (top right) on the Message Edit window. Therefore, if MQVE didn't retrieve the entire message then simply clicking that button it will retrieve and insert the entire message into the Message Edit window.
Hope that helps.
Regards,
Roger Lacroix
