for future reference, I recommend usgin Sam's evmon program to read the event messages, rather than amqsbcg:

It prints the messages out in a formatted fashion...

Good tool!

I however do not need it, since my special powers enable me to read binary octal or hex as required...

I also prefer to work with raw data, not filtered through another application.
