Hi..

I am using MQSI 2.1 and MQSeries 5.2.1 in windows 2000 platform..
After my installation of MQSI. i couldnt start the mqseries services..It saying..

It could not initialize MQSeries Service objects and ask for to check user and pwd..

What's the privilege that i have to give it to my user name for to overcome this pbm?..

Any Help is Appreciated...

Hi,
Be sure that you W2K user belongs to the different groups (mqm for WMQ - MQSeries), and mqbrasgn, mqbrdevt, mqbrkrs, mqbrops and mqbrtpic (for the different actions on WMQI).
Be sure that you have the right to read/write and so on on the DB you have used to create the different databases needed by WMQI (usually WMQIMRDB, WMQICMDB and WMQIBKDB).
Verify you've created the different services (using assistant for instance) for creating the broker and the configuration manager. It should work...
By the way, install the latest CSD (CSD02) for WMQI V2.1 and be sure to have all the right pre-req such as OS (W2K + SP2) and DB...
