I have installed WMQI 2.1 + CSD2 in a Windows 2000 environment (SP2). We are using MQSeries Server 5.2 with CSD4. I have created a single QM which is associated with the Config Manager and a single broker. I start the control center and it connects "succesfully" in that I can start defining a message flow and adjusting the topology.

When I startup the Control Center and look at Windows 2000 Event Viewer I recieve 18 WMQIv210 error messages which all look the same. Any thoughts?

Most probably this is an error within Configuration Manager. You could try stopping your broker and configuration manager first. Then start your configuration manager only and see if any error is logged into EventViewer.
Check your MQSeries log file and see if anything is logged there. What version of DB2 you are using? Do you have any fixpack installed for DB2?

This sounds more like a problem with your dll's.
Try searching for mqm.dll and mqic32.dll on your system: If there are multiple copies (especially in the %WIN%\System32 directory), it's possible that an older or corrupted dll is being used.

We had multiple mqm.dll due to a dirty install from a VB app. Removing this removed the problem!

Cheers!
