This is regarding a query i have in my pjt implementation on MQSI
i have an input message in XML format
The Output format i defined in MRM
i want the o/p to be in CWF format which is routed to an o/p queue
Now the problem is that i have some of the o/p field having datatype = HEX
so the o/p in the o/p queue should show me this o/p data in a field which is HEX and not a string occupying only 1 byte.
Could u suggest how i can go abt doing this
The things i need 2 know are :
1. The definition of those fields in the message set
2. assignment of the values to the fields
3. any casting if required
i have already tried giving the datatype as binary with a length of 1 . But when i assign a value eg. B'010101010' to the a var(defined as binary of length 1) it gets represented as a string of 8 chars.

Can you give me an example of how your Output message should look like? _________________ Kiran
