I had a class library created using .net 1.1. I converted the class library to .net 2.0. It was working fine before the conversion. Now I have started getting a 'Type initialization Exception' when i try to instantiate the Queue Manager. I checked the error log created by the MQ client and i have pasted the logs below.

Does anyone know why I would be getting this exception? I am using MQ client 5.3.

.NET 2.0 is not supported.
Your best bet for getting it to work is to try with v6 client, also.
No, there is no problem with a v6 client talking to a v5.3 qmgr. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Thanks for replying.
Do you mean that .net 2.0 is not supported by Websphere Clientv5.3? |

I mean that IBM does not yet support .NET 2.0 for the MQ API at any version level. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
