All,
I'm getting this error message when trying to recieve messages from a remote machine. This manifests as a runtime error and happens after a certain has elapsed. Did anyone see this before, if so please advice, we are struggling with this. Thanks much.

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/ibm/ras/RASLogger
at com.ibm.mq.jms.services.Trace.checkForTurnTracingOn(Compiled Code)
at com.ibm.mq.jms.MQQueueReceiver.receive(Compiled Code)

Are you running this on an app server (websphere) ?
Here is the Javadoc for this class from IBM. This class does indeed exist, and it appears to be specific to running on an app server. I have a feeling that this class needs to be in the server class path, rather than the application class path. And I would assume it would ship with the app server:
