HI,
i have two queue managers on the same SunSolaris and on the same filesystem. Each one have his own Listener on diferent ports. The queue managers works good but some day no one was working. Using dspmq command i saw that Status says EndedUnexpectedly????.
I display the last error file of both queue managers and @SYSTEM, but i don't find anything that could help me to know what happend. In this files i just find client TCP connections failures.
¿it's posible that a TCP error could make end MQSeries?
¿where i can find more information about critical endings?
Other problem was restart the queue managers, becuase this status(endedUnexpectedly) make unable to execute a normal strmqm. I resolved it changing the qmstatus.ini file of every queue manager and waiting a time and then executing the strmqm command.
¿it's this a good way to do it or there is an another way?
The problem of the queue managers "EndedUnexpectedly" have ocurred 3 times and still i don't what's the origin.
If someone have an idea of what's happening or where i could find information i'll thank you

If your qmgr is ending unexpectedly, I would expect to see an FDC file in either /var/mqm/errors or /var/mqm/qmgrs/(qmgrname)/errors. If you have one, you can post the top of it here. It might shed some light on what is going wrong.
If you are running two qmgrs on the box, you need to make sure that your kernel parameters are defined correctly. The Quick Beginnings book gives information for a single qmgr. |
