Hi,
We have not been able to see the log in Control Center from the day we installed the product. No error messages or anything.
Logs could only be seen if Control Center was run on the same machine the config & broker databases were installed on (the server). Now even that does not work.
I've upgraded to the latest CSD's for MQ Series and Integrator.
Anyone have any ideas why this is happening?
Regards,

Are you able to see info in other tabs like Operations/Assignment/etc?
Have you installed CSD on Control Center machine also? _________________ Kiran

Hi,
Everything else works fine.
I have not applied the CSD's on my personal machine yet, but they are installed on the server where I was trying to do this. This has been happening from the start, no csd has helped.

On which platform? On Unix, you have to set an syslog.conf entry. |

Can you see the log pane but not the log? Or can you not see the log pane?
If the first, then do the symptoms match this post:
http://www.webmq.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3155&highlight=
I've since found that leaving the MCA User Id blank does not allow others access to connect to the configmgr - unless you create their own userids in the relevant groups on the configmgr box.
This is because the logs entries are selected on the basis of the userid you are logged on as, but the entries are created using the MCAUserId.
Perhaps when it worked you were logged on as the same userid as the broker/configmgr was using.
Hope that helps,
