Hi,
I am trying to set the following doctype in a xml message.
<!DOCTYPE SEQUENCE_MESSAGE SYSTEM "sequence_message.dtd">
Message domain is MRM
wire format is XML
have unchecked the "suppress doctype" in .mset and have set all values to empty ( i.e., for system ID , public ID )
in message definition file, under "XML Document type settings" , i have set 'DOCTYPE System ID' to "sequence_message.dtd"..
my problem is i am not getting the required DOCTYPE in the output xml message. |

What are you getting instead? Does the output message have an incorrect DOCTYPE. or no DOCTYPE at all? |

Sorry - nothing springs to mind. I'm assuming that you also unchecked 'Suppress DocType' in the message definition file settings |

what did you mean msg def file ...... there is a 'DOCTYPE System ID' in the mset "XML Document type settings" ...... you meant that right ??
i had this problem once and i had to RCD to XML and add the DocType !!
the normal procedure is uncheck the 'supress doctype' and give the doctype in the fields below it and it should work.
Also how are you viewing your messages, sometimes the tools like RHFUtil don't display the Doctype

yes i do have unchecked 'Suppress DocType' in the message definition file settings.
I am looking messages in Rfhutil, will check if something pops up after copying the message contents to a file
I will also RCD it to XML and try.
Thanks guys |
