Hi,
We are going to have a queue which will be clustered across regions.
The Base queue name would be different in different regions.
Is it possile for me to access the queue details by using an MQINQ call.
To my knowledge MQINQ call can be issued only on the local queue. How do these queues behave when they are clustered.
Can i have an application program defined only in one region and still have it do an MQINQ on all queues in different regions?
Thankq _________________ Regards,

So, you're planning on sharing many qaliases in the cluster, each of which points to a specific qlocal on a specific queue manager, and the name of that specific qlocal is different in different regions.
And, for some reason, you wish to be able to find out the name of the queue that the alias you have grabbed in the cluster resolves to?
Why? Sending applications should not care where the queue they send messages to is, or even what name that queue has. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Hi jefflowrey,
I have an enquery screen for which i need to do this.
i need to have a field on the screen which user will specify the region and the queue information (number of threads running, queue depth etc...) of the queue have to be displayed on the screen.
Is this possible? _________________ Regards,
