My client is looking for a Middleware Engineering Manager who will be responsible for the delivery of Middleware BAU Services. Specifically the Engineering of the TIBCO SmartSockets / IBM Websphere MQ product and execute changes into the development and production environments as identified by business demand and requirements. This position requires ability to gather requirements from projects that use these Middleware solutions and perform development support and implementation duties on behalf of the applications utilizing the technology. Additional responsibilities to include technology/skills transfer to the development community. This role requires the ability to trouble-shoot SmartSockets/ IBM Websphere MQ/ Middleware related problems as reported to the team to root-cause. The role will pay up to £80k basic + £5.5k car allowance + full banking benefits + bonus!!!
