Windows 2000 / MQ v5.2.1 + MA88 + MA0C

I'm trying to done PSIVTRun.bat, but it fails in mid-flow as connecting to the broker.

I executed following steps:

1) create Queue Manager (QM1)
2) strmqbrk -m QM1
3) runmqsc QM1 < MQJMS_PSQ.mqsc
4) PSIVTRun.bat -nojndi -m QM1 -t

In the prompt, following message is displayed:
com.ibm.mq.jms.NoBrokerResponseException: MQJMS5053

I can't understand why it fails despite executed strmqbrk.
Do I need other steps?

Can somebody help me?

(sorry for obtuse English)

Hi,

Please Ensure that Queue Manager Created is the Default one give -d Options while creating QM in AIX, UNIX or in NT you have Gui Options for that dont & then give strmqbrk command dont give the QM name same way strmqm to start QM Since this is the one way of finding out that we have created the Default QM If Problem exsists again post with the Error Code

I found that using the same config using the -nojndi flag didn't work as advertised and this was confirmed in the bug list I have provided a link to below.

http://www-3.ibm.com/software/ts/mqseries/support/summary/javasupp.html

I found that using the product without using JNDI requires alot of work. Every code sample, example, etc. assumes you want to use JNDI. I eventually got it working, but it was a chore.

Hi,

It worked!!

I changed QueueManager's ccsid, as follows:

1) RUNMQSC QM1
2) alter qmgr ccsid(819)
3) re-run "PSIVTRun.bat -nojndi -m QM1 -t"

Current system is Japanese environment, so I think the problem result from
language enbironment, or just a bug of the PSIVTRun java class.

Thanks for the responses,
kix
