Hi All ,
Finally it seems I have a solution to install MQSeries on Win2k with normal domain user account login without creating a group etc . I had struggled getting the service to start automatically for quite few days before i stumbled on this.
Please run the following command and then try restarting MQSeries Services ( navigate to the MQSeries\bin folder in case the path is not set for any reason ) Execute -

AMQMSRVN -regserver -user

Run the command as is and try start the MQSeries Services . It has worked on two machines and hopefully will work for all . Please dont hold me responsible in case it doesnt work because there were quite a few things that I simultaneously tried with in the past few days . Also I am not aware of the implications of the domain security policy , local sec. policy etc . But its worth giving a try , so that even I will know if it works in all cases.
