Hi.
How can improve performances on my linux box?
I have 16 Qmanagers on the same machine, and 8 partitioned Lotus Domino Servers. For Domino, i found several tips for improving performances. Now i'm interestd in tuning the Mq side of my server.
Thanx in advance for any idea.

The obvious suggestion would be to modify the kernel parameters if you haven't already done so. The Linux Quick Beginnings Guide should explain how to do this.
Also, if you have multiple drives on this machine (and you're ready to repartition it) you can speed up queue access. Let's say you have QM1 and QM2. You know that when these are created, they live in /var/mqm/qmgrs/QM1 and /var/mqm/qmgrs/QM2. When you setup the partitions, set each of these mount points to a different physical device so you can speed up the reading and writing of messages.
I'm sure I'll think of some other options later... _________________ Brandon Duncan
