Folks,
I haven't been able to find this in documentation, so I'm hoping the community can help me.
It's my understanding that when queues handle messages in the course of normal processing they can be stored in memory up to a certain size. Once that size is reached, disks are used for the messages.
Can someone tell me a little bit more about this or point me to the documentation that discusses it? Is that memory size 64k and is it configurable?
Am I completely off base?
Thanks alot.

ethan, check out the perfomance support packs for your platforms. That value is tuneable if you reeaally need to muck with it.
Why do you think you need to touch this? _________________ Peter Potkay

Thanks for the information.
I'm not sure I need to muck with it. A customer was asking about it. |

yeah, there are easier preferred ways to improve performance: persistence, syncpoints, Log Buffer Pages _________________ Peter Potkay
