Does anyone know if the Java base classes use some dll drom the client installation? Thanks very much in advance.

No, the java client base classes do not require any dll's from the mq client. It is a complete implementation of the client protocol on the MQI channel in java.

If you use server bindings mode ( JMSC.MQJMS_TP_BINDINGS_MQ ) then the MQ base Java classes will load and call into MQ DLLs.

If you use client mode ( JMSC.MQJMS_TP_CLIENT_MQ_TCPIP ) then Wayne's comments apply.
