hi,
i am new to CICS and MQSeries. My project is on both Mainframe and Java.
So the data communication between those technologies is through MQSeries.
My requirement is how to handle Mqseries with CICS and COBOL. I need the commands like READ and WRITE to MQSeries. If you are having any documents and any sample programs please send me to my id contact admin@yahoo.co.in

visit www.redbooks.ibm.com and search for mqseries.
or search this forum with 'cics' as the search key. 
with cics, you will have the option where you can build your own mq adapter or making use mq cics bridge.

Underr "Application Prramming Guide", there's a whole chapter entitled:
"Using and writing applications on WebSphere MQ for z/OS"....
In essence, you can choose to either write your CICS transaction to make the MQ calls directly (MQOPEN, MQPUT, MQGET) or use the CICS bridge in which case your program gets passed a commare with the message in it.
