Please tell us where you've already looked for information - it helps us avoid giving redundant advice.

From the command line, one can use crtmqm. If on Windows, the Explorer GUI can be used. The description of crtmqm is at http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmqv6/v6r0/topic/com.ibm.mq.amqzag.doc/zcrtqm.htm

Ask your boss.

It sounds like he knows what the problem is and how to fix it.

It's seems fairly obvious to me now.

The posts submitted by jeevan are either being recorded for the television show Candid Camera or MTV's Boiling Point. If it's the latter, I don't know how much longer I can hang in there for a measly $100.

All,

I think it is time for Brandon or one of the other moderators to give jeevan a very strict warning about his questions.

He / She obviously has zero knowledge about MQ and other areas. If the person is too lazy to read the manuals or take a course, then spoon-feeding him the answers will not help him out.

Before someone goes 'postal on him', lets have a moderator step in.

Regards,
Roger Lacroix

Well, I've already PM'ed him about posting Operating System related questions in MQ related forums.

I'm not sure how one goes about issuing a warning about posting a coherant question with whole sentences and stuff.

Sounds like his boss is a moron too.

Jeevan

If you mean the SYSTEM objects within a queue manager, these get defined when you create the queue manager.

If you already know how to create the queue manager, then do so and the system objects will be there.

If your boss means that there is no default queue manager then go slap them upside the head and tell them that the first one created will become the default and that they should know better.

That's only true if they used the '-q' option for the crtmqm command. Or for Windows GUI mode, they left the "Default QM" checkbox checked.

If it is about creating system objects then use
Code:
strmqm -c
