Install MQ5.3 on Linux
1)Create one directory for MQ5.3 in the root
2)Copy the Dump of MQ5.3 into that Directory.
3)Type the command------------ gzip -d and the file name of the dump with the .gz extension
4)Then u wii get the file named C44J1ML.tar
5)Then we have to give the command--------- tar -xvf C44J1ML.tar
4)You will get a lot of files with .rpm extension..
5)then we have to type the command ---rpm -i and the file name with the .rpm extension
we have to give the command with the runtime file name that is MQSERIESRUNTIME-5.3.0-1.I386.rpm
then MQSeriesSamples....rpm
then MQSeriesJava.......rpm
Depending on our requirement we have to use them..
That's all
then
login using root
and enter into mqm...

Set up the ClassPath and Path Variable in .Profile in Linux..
First login to the Linux Session.
suppose if u need to set the variables for MQ5.3
go to the mqm user using su -mqm
and
type ls -a
there u can find the .profile file in shaded color
open it using vi .profile
and set the Classpath and Path Variables using export command

Jaga:
I would suggest you to post these kind of things in the FAQ's forum.
