Is there any limitation for the number of message sets a broker can have?

Thanks,

Lillo

There's no fixed limit that I'm aware of. Limits will be imposed by implementation, eg:

- How large are the sets.
- How many brokers are running on a machine.
- How much disk space and memory the machine has, etc.

There'll also be a contraint because the deploy operation will time out if what you attempt to deploy to a specific broker becomes very large, although some tuning can be done in this area.

What sort of numbers had you got in mind?

About 80 message sets in a broker. Each message sets containing an unique message.

Thanks,

Lillo

This shouldn't be a problem. However, the first sign of timeouts occuring during the deploy process will probably be BIP1803 or similar errors when you attempt to deploy. There's some tunable parameters at 2.1 CSD 02 (if you're at 2.1) that can be adjusted to assist, however, let's not go there yet. If you have a problem later, come back to me.
