Where did you find this queue and in what context are we talking in here. I have never heard of such a queue.

I don't know when this object first appear ! But it is part of the system object created by MQSeries 5.2.1 on Microsfot Windows NT / 2000.

All,
this queue obviously was introduced with CSD04 and most likely enables 'deferred messages'. Please take a look at http://www.messageq.com/forums/vienna/msg_body.php3?ID=31105 for a second-hand description of what that might be.
