Hi, there,

There is one simple function but I have no idea if I can achieve it in msgflow.

I have one subflow to do all the error handling job in my msgflow. I need to do slightly different processes according to where the failure msg from, which means my subflow has to recognize the upstream node & terminal name of this incoming msg.

Actually it's quite useful function that the upstream node & terminal can be awared by neighbor downstream node. It's a kind fan-in struture without using aggregate node.

One idea is to use localenviornment but it's only useful to those branch with Compute nodes.

Does Anybody have any idea about this?

Not a total solution but ...

Try using throw user exception and encoding the message text

and/or

wiring up the failure terminals of non-compute nodes to throw nodes and encoding the message text as above.
