Hi
Has anyone managed to install supportpac IA06 on WMB V6 successfully?
I have repeated the process that I did (as per the supporting pdf) that worked fine for WBIMB v5 - but no cigar!
I know new features in WMB v6 allow similar functionality, but we are trying to minimse the changes for the migration.
Thanks |

I suggest e-mailing Arjan and see if he's planning on an update. _________________ -wayne |

At the recent Websphere Technical Conference "Birds of a Feather" session WBI Product Management indicated that IBM are making efforts to get all the support packs V6 compliant ASAP.

Cat 2 supportpacs are basically "volunteer" efforts. I would still suggest mailing Arjan _________________ -wayne |

hi,
You may download an early release of the Tookit V6.0 support at http://home.unet.nl/vanvught/supportpacs/toolkit/6.0/supportpacs.zip
After unpacking, you need to start the toolkit with the -clean option. This causes Eclipse to rebuild certain information about the overall eclipse environment. It will take longer to start up so only do that when it is needed.
Regards, Arjan. |

Cheers Arjan
I also managed to get it working by fudging the ibm nodes package - probably not recommended from a support perspective though.
Just about to reinstall WMBv6 on another test machine, I'll use your updated version- much appreciated.
Best wishes |
