I get this questions every couple of weeks, so I thought I should post the answer.

For all Capitalware products on Windows, there are 2 silent install modes: silent and very silent.

(1) To do a silent install, without having the user to click 'next' or 'ok' buttons then do the following from a Command Prompt (it will only show the progress window):

xxxxxx.exe /SILENT

(2) If you do not want to see any windows at all, then do the following from a Command Prompt:

xxxxxx.exe /VERYSILENT

xxxxxx is the Windows installer name. i.e. mqbt-setup-withjre.exe or mqbt-setup.exe


If you wish to select a different directory during the silent install then use DIR parameter.

xxxxxx.exe /SILENT /DIR="D:\MQBT"
