Hi,
2.1 now supports COBOL External and Packed decimal numbers, coming in via an MRM message, with more than 9 digits. However, it converts the number into a Float internally (according to the doc).
Has anyone had (or envision) any problems with this if the value is then output also as an External or Packed decimal (or maybe even CAST as a String). I'm thinking along the lines of the rounding errors that can happen when integer numbers are held as floating point.
Thoughts anyone.
Cheers,
