How to Extract XML elements and convert to BLOB

How can I extract data in a XML message convert it to Blob and finally to NEON formats. Any ideas ?

This really depends on what you need the BLOB to look like. It sounds more like what you need is an MRM CWF format containing elements extracted from your XML message, which you can then recast to BLOB and/or NEON as required.

alternatively you could also use a plugin node and do the conversion there

With repect, I generally would not advise writing plugins for something which can be achieved natively with the product.
