Hi,
When i start( click) at WebSphere MQ Explorer following error is generated and i am unable to start MQ explorer

Could not initilize Web Sphere MQ Services object 0x8000401A. The Server process could not be started because the configuration identity is incorrect .Check the username and password

WebSphere MQ
Version: 530

What USER ID are you logged on with. Is it a member of the local Asministrator, MUSR_MQADMIN or mqm group?

From a DOS prompt can you run the runmqsc command?

What version of windows are you running, 2000, 2003, XP?

dcomcnfg - find the dcom application for MQSeries, and look at its properties, identity page. That configures the userid it is running under, so I would suggest getting that userids pwd changed, then typing the new pwd into that panel

In an active directory environment you need to change the userid from the default local userid to a domain userid - see the quick beginnings manual
