I deleted the mq log files which were in /var/mqm/log accitantly . Not all , but some of them which seems were created 2 weeks ago .

I am wondering it will impact my MQ if I restart it ? I have run crdmqimg to recored the image . Any more actions needed?

It is a test machine , so the data is not needed .

BTW:It is linear logging .

It is a test machine. You have done mqimg. You deleted two weeks old logs.

Probably you are safe. Just restart the queue manager. If it restart OK, you are fine. If not, you can recreate the queue manager.

Anyway, you can know which log files can be deleted and which cannot be deleted. Look up further on the backup and recovery steps.

I just want to restart the Qmgr now , but failed .

:mqm:/var/mqm/> strmqm
Log not available.

but the file S0000535.LOG is there ,
:mqm:/var/mqm/log/ /active> ls S0000535.LOG
S0000535.LOG

Got the below info in the log file ,
: Needed for Media Recovery: S0000405.LOG
: Needed for Qmgr Restart: S0000535.LOG

I got a instuction from the website , but don't know how to follow it .

This typically indicates that the log file is missing or damaged, or that the log path to the queue manager is inaccessible.

To remedy the problem, create a dummy queue manager and copy its header log file and transaction log files over to the actual queue manager. This will allow you to restart the queue manager.

Unlucky.
Recreate the qmgr.
Be more careful next time.

Try searching this site. There are a few posts that will give you a totally unsupported method of re-creating the logs.

Cheers,
