All,
First of all, thank you very much for helping me with my previous problems.
We are running ICS server 4.3 with DB2 version 8.1 SP5 as repository.
We have about 57 collaborations running and recently couple of days back I have
changed the property "Maximum No. of Concurrent Events Processed" on all of the
collaborations to 10. Usually we will have heavy transactions during week days.
Today suddenly ICS server got shut down and I found the following error in the ICS logs.
"The server will be shut down because the collaboration cannot delete event
XXXXX.Create from persistent storage. Reason: An event state change could not
be deleted: state = YYYY, connector = ZZZZ, eventId = 176985. [info]::A JDBC error
was encountered during an attempt to execute accessor PBOSDelete. [info]::
(SQLState [57011]:[IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/NT] SQL0912N The maximum number of
lock requests has been reached for the database. SQLSTATE=57011 DB specific error:-912)"
And ICS server was repeatedly getting shut down and the same error was showing up.
I looked up help on this error SQL0912N and I came to know that I will have to
change the LockList and MaxLocks configuration parameters on DB2 Repository.
I am not very much DB2 person, so I just wanted to know if there is any other
configurtion setting that I will have to change to make an optimum number of
MaxLocks % and LockList size. I appreciate your suggestions..
Thank you, _________________ voyager
