Hi!

I'm a beginner with MQSeries. I'm configuring a Client / Server connexion (with the server on Windows 2000). I'm looking for any possibility to make sure that the messages won't be lost between the Client and the Server, particularly when a network problem occurs. I use the TCP/IP protocol.

If you know about one or several solutions, please tell me.

Best Regards!

P.S. : Are Dead Letter Queues available on Windows 2000?

Do your GETs under syncpoint, so if the message is lost between the time its picked up off of the queue and actually delivered to the Client (i.e. the network went down), the message will still be there when you re-establish the connection.

When you do the PUTs, you can assume the message safely made it to the server if you get back a good return code.
