Just wondering on whats peoples views on this will be. What impact will it have on queue manager integrity

I've never heard of it before now, but looking at what it's supposed to do...

Ordinarily I would agree but the application in this case is outside my control. I am trying to get up an argument as to why we should not use MQ_ABORT_ON_EXCEPTION as I feel it may impact the integrity of the queue manager.
I was hopign some others may have come across this but I think it is as feared, an unusual request. _________________ Keith Guttridge

I believe it should only be used for debugging. If you have an app that is generatating SISEGVs, for example, you can set this var to generate a core file for determining the cause. It should not be used generally, particularly in production.
