Guys,
We have setup the Broker 7 on AIX box. Now we are planning(new setup) to install WTX for Integration server(v.8.3) on the same AIX box where WMB is installed. Now my question is

1. whether WTX for Integration server should be installed with 'root' or with the Broker user id(e.g., wmbadmin)?. If installed with 'root', the WTX binaries will be owned by root or with broker user id?.

2. The WTX binaries can be owned by any user id or should be owned only with broker id as we are integrating WTX with WMB?.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We installed WTX design studio, on the desktop where the WMB toolkit is installed. Now we would like to see the WTX nodes in the WMB toolkit's nodes palette. How to achieve this?. Do we need to have WTX for Integration server installed on desktop as well?.

Thanks in advance for your help on this.

Good question, Regarding about this once i had a talk with IBM WTx experts, they asked me install it using Broker User ID, as WTx is going to be integrated with Broker so broker should have the full access to WTx libraries.

I answered, refer point 1

Yes you need integration server to be installed on your desktop, that is the binaries which integrate it with broker toolkit.

Cannot decipher what Gaya3 is saying.

I've installed WTX for IS and it took care of defining itself with the Message Broker.

Now i need to figure out how to pull the WTX designer studio plugins into broker toolkit. Looks like i don't need to install Designer Studio after all, if i have WTX for IS (Broker).

Will find out soon.
