Confucious was a very very wise man.

Try downloading the WMQI Primer support pac. This will help you once you have completed the install of WMQI and it's up and running.

That's because there isn't one. You have to buy ($$$$$) the product.

Cheers,

Get your WMQI at the same place you got MQSeries. Hope you have a lot of money though.

Let's not talk about the money here!

You can get 90 days eval copy of MQSeries software on IBM website, but you cannot get the same for WMQI/WBIMB.

You have 2 options,
1) Register for IBM Toolbox subscription. You will have access to all IBM softwares. They have different subscription levels. You can find more information at following url,
http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/subscription/lit/sublevel.html

2) Buy the product.

Hi,

I am looking for WBIMB software. It's not mentioned in the long list of sofwares provided to dW subscribers. Only the following Intergrator softwares are mentioned. Is it not possible to obtain just WBIMB at more affordable price for learning?

IBM WebSphere MQ Integrator Broker V2.1 for Multiplatforms
01) IBM WebSphere MQ Integrator Broker V2.1 for Windows NT and Windows 2000 (E Web-only)
02) IBM WebSphere MQ Integrator Broker V2.1 for AIX (E Web-only)
03) IBM WebSphere MQ Integrator Broker V2.1 for Solaris (E Web-only)
04) IBM WebSphere MQ Integrator Broker V2.1 Supplement (E Web-only)

Forget the developer toolbox, it's rubbish, only WAS and WSAD get updated on a regular basis. What you need is a subscription to the software access catalog, this contains almost all IBM software.

Now, you can subscribe through the developer works website. It's under one of the value packages, it cost me GBP700.

Jonathan,
can you post the link or tell us how you got there?
I started off at www.ibm.com/developerworks and ended up somewhere in australia to subscribe to the softcopy software catalogue...
