Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how to get the current timestamp in CST when the system is in PST. If I get the CURRENT_GMTTIMESTAMP and deduct the time difference between the CST and GMT, It may not work during Day Light Saving. I want to know if this can be done without using java plugin node.

We are using WBIMB 5.0.2

Thanks

Did you look in the EQSL manual for DateTime functions. Or is your copy missing those pages.

**Edit** Ooops, I just re-read the question. EQSL only knows about the current timezone, not any others. If Java does, then you could use a Java function call, as long as you have FP4 applied, which would be easier than a PlugIn node.

**Edit** If you do use a Java function, then you cannot input, or output, an INTERVAL to the function.

Cheers,

Perhaps some database functions can accomplish this for you. I believe Oracle 9i has a TIMEZONE function.
