Subject: Error in setting up config mgr in WBI Message Broker Tooki 5.0

While trying to use the Websphere Business Integration Message Broker v.5.0,

Getting started Wizard , in the step “create a default configuration”, I get an error saying creation of configuration manager failed.

I am able to put/read messages from the MQ series. When I run the offending command 'RUNMQLSR -mWBRK_QM -t"TCP" -p 1416 at the command prompt, I get the message

AMQ9255: Listener already running.

I am running MQ Series with CSD04 and WBMQI v.50, (Version: 5.0.0

Build id: 20030526_1707),

Any help in solving the problem is appreciated.

Thanks

Joe

It's recommended not to do anything with WBIMB 5.0 without installing CSD1. It'd be better if you install CSD2 on the base product before trying anything. _________________ Kiran

Actually, it's required that you install CSD01 before you do anything with the base product. If you have run any of the installed software from the base product before you have applied CSD01, you may have to uninstall completely and start over.

And highly recommended to go to CSD02 at your earliest opportunity.

But be aware that IBM has refreshed at least some of the installation images and media since the GA became available. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
