What MQ version is best to use when setting up a cluster between OS/390 verion 2.10 MQ Version ?? and AIX 4.3.3 MQ series V5.2

Thanx for all the response but what is best prectise in this case IP or DNS?
And will this save the problem of not being able to send but only to receive messages?

I use an IP.

Hi,
Iám using v5.2 and i setup a cluster.
just for checking with the other parties i use a channel. When i start the channel the ip of the conname is gone what can be the problem.

already did so.
Problem is also solved the other country had specified the wrong ip address ie they took the inside ip.

I have setup a cluster that has to pas a number of firewalls. Conname is set as ip address. question is why is it not working.
