Yes,
I tried with LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.19 as well as LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.2.5.

The applications is hung in both the cases.

Does MQ uses signal handlers?
If yes, this could be a problem because signal handling does not fully conform to the Posix standard.
