We had same issue, all broker mqsi commands were just hung.
Issue was found due to a NFS mount not found errors (which is not even used by Broker), It was resolved after unmounting it . |

After we saw the errors , i rebooted and tried but no luck same errors.
I tried 7.0.1.6 and its throwing same errors.

Problem is its a legacy application and it works only on 9i .
I have the same question how much risk/impact of running the interfaces an unsupported combination?

We still have some applications databases that are on Oracle 9i.

backconfgmgr files were corrupted and we are not sure how .
Resolved after doing below steps:
delete configmgr(-n option)
create configmgr
restore configmgr from last week
start configmgr

I deleted and recreated the configmgr and used mqsirestoreconfigmgr to backup as mentioned the below link.
But still same errors cannot issue any admin commands stop/start of lfows.

| after copying directory /var/mqsi/components/CMGR_PRD61 from the filesystem backup , i was able to start the configmanager but i cannot stop/start flows from messagebroker toolkit |
