Yes.. This was a planned activity. The hardware has aslo been upgraded. The DBAs have ruled out any problems with the database. |

Some time back, the application was running with MQ v6.0.2.4 and oracle 10g. Recently, there has been a migration to MQ v7.0.1.9 and Oracle 11g.

If the message your app team is looking for was persistent, AND your qmgr uses linear logs, then an image of the message will be found in one of the log segments - if you keep them.
