Os Sun Solaris 10

Broker version :6.0.0.3

Currently we are redirecting all Broker logs to a brk.log in /var/adm

Now the question this log file is pretty big and what options ...

I faced similar problem in 5.3 version and we found that stopping the Windows Management Instrumentation and any monitoring tool like Patrol helped

Give it a try.

Thanks a lot for your suggestion.

I found out the test server had a bad disk and caused the script to hang.

Tried the silent install on one other server and it worked like a charm

When a message fails to get processed the application should move the message to a ERROR /POINSON queue. This will clear the path for the forth coming messges to be worked on.

You can verify by doing this:

eg:
runmqsc QMGR_NAME < queues.txt > out.txt

Where QMGR_NAME is your QMGR
queues.txt is your template which contains all the queues that you need to create ...

For eg:

define QL(q1) +
cluster(TEST) +
DEFBIND(NOTFIXED) +
PUT(INHIBITED)

define QL(q2) +
LIKE(q1)
