but if we see a refresh cluster command in mq logs of a partiall repository queue manager then that means that someone has definitely issued it . is that correct ?

we have websphere apps running on same node as mq qmgrs but they are still using SVRCONN channels to connect to mq for jms .
what would be the performance gain if they switch to native binding mode ...
