Sorted it, well ......fudged it!
Moved /opt/mqm out of the way
re-ran the rpm -ev on the packages and got an error saying a QM was still running - which of course it wasn't.
moved /var/mqm out ... |

I have the task of cleaning up someone else's botched MQ 6.0.2.1 install on RedHat Linux.
I have already been through bypassing the amqiclen check which was stopping my uninstalls with shmem issues ... |

MirrorQ works on qremotes as well as qlocals, as far as I know - at least the API exit form. API Exits get called when *anything*, including MCAs, make an MQ API call.
