Hmm, this looks like it might do the job, have to do some further reading on how it works with certs, performance etc.

You may have better luck monitoring this kind of "depth but nothing's wrong" situation by using RESET QUEUE STATISTICS and looking at the dequeue rate...

Inspect the auth event queue before and after a test, and post a browse (amqsbcg output) of any msgs added to the queue during the test.
The queue to look at is SYSTEM.ADMIN.QMGR.EVENT.
