I got the following Exception while trying to instantiate MQQueueManager using the chennel definition table file url:
MQJE001: An MQException occurred: Completion Code 2, Reason 2278

So using the MQ jms api we don't need to install the MQ client even if the MQ server is on a remote machine? |

Thank you for your fast reply Jeff! of course there are no differences, it was olnly to figure out who has to loop, if there was a mechanism, like in the jms specs, where you can specify a listener to ... |

I'm using the java api (non jms) for WMQ 5.3, I need to register a listener to a queue, is it possible? if so, how?
