Hi again,

after doing some more digging it appears that, as long as you have PTF5 or later, using

export AMQ_THREADMODEL_RESET=1

for the jboss user will be enough as this sets LD_ASSUME_KERNE ...

thanks for the pointer. I think there could have been something wrong with that RPM then. I tried some other versions:
