Thanks tczielke. But I think this approach will require changing all channels in a short period of time. Because once clusrcvrs have been changed and a cluster change happens, clussdrs will go in retr ... |

Hello,
I am trying to come up with a strategy to migrate a cluster (with many qmgrs) from using SSL to TLS. All qmgrs have been upgraded to a WMQ version that supports TLS but I am struggling with ... |

We are *not* setting these fields. As I said, our response MQMD is largly what our reqeust MQMD is. We copy over.
Another interesting observation...when I created ABC locally on brokeramgr and set ... |

On QM to QM channels yes, but its different on SVRCONN channels, where the MCAUSER value of the SVRCONN channel will dictate the MQMD's User Identity field.

Use the qmgr alias as the reply to qmgr.
Resolving to local qmgr is done by the qmgr alias.
