Hello,
We've solved the problem, on the messageset the namespace flag is not default set. So we have set the flag so it uses the namespace and solved the nil value.

Hello ,
We're using WBIMB5.0 CSD03 on AIX. We've a problem with an incoming XML message. Parsing the xml is going correct except when the valid xsi:nil value is in the xml message.

I've set in the environment the MQSI_LOCAL_CCSID=819 and this works !!!!

Yes also tried but an ë becomes Sÿ it's a very strange problem....
I've tried many NLS_LANG settings but without any result.. |

Thanx, for reporting that it is a bug. We've used the PASSTRU with a TO_DATE and that works fine. |

The select clause is as follows:

Oh , on the unix system we have only user mqm ... this user is running the broker and is in the mqm group. Must we need to create a mqmadmin user on the unix ??

Yes we've a Broker running on a AIX5.2 system. The configmgr is running on WIN2000 with the queuemanager WCFM. The configmgr is running with user mqmadmin the WCFM queuemanager also ... both in mqm gr ... |

We've already managed to convert this with the substring but I thought it should be done a lot easier ..... like in normal SQL statements ... but this works..
