Vitor - I didn't quite get that, the msgflow is deployed on Linux and is SFTP the file to another Linux environment. If FileOutput is doing SFTP it does in binary mode only right ?

Yes this was used for testing the connectivity.
Command used:
mqsisetdbparms <brokername> -n jdbc::testidentity -u <username> -p <password> |

Yes, I do understand that MB 6.0 is out of support but there aren't any near plans for migration in our client.
